Talk about the variety of lines Demo how to make the mittens using crayon first then the markers. Students work on creating the mittens. |
Day 2
Objectives |
Teacher demonstrates how to add water to the mittens to make them look softer and more complete. Demonstrating where to put them to dry. Give students some time to do finish up from last class and add water to their picture. As students begin to finish bring the students back to the carpet to demonstrate how to assemble the picture. Give students time to assemble their picture.

Teacher demonstrates how to cut and apply the mittens. Also show that the mittens can be facing palms down or palms up to hold something. Give students time to finalize their project and do a reflection.
